Cheeks (Cheeks Gaywood) is one of Brad Armstrong's childhood friends, who he also shared a house with after the White Flash. He was fatally wounded when Buddy's kidnappers ransacked the house, and he died after telling Brad about the kidnapping.

Appearance and Personality

Cheeks is a balding man with gray hair remaining only on the sides of his head. He has permanently flushed red cheeks, and he's dressed in black pants and a black poncho-like garment.

Cheeks is seen again as a Hallucination beside The List after Buddy Armstrong kills all 6 Warlords in Eastern Olathe, alongside Sticky, Brad, Rick, and Rando.

Trivia

• He was meant to be Brad's party member mentioned in the trailer, along with Rick and Sticky, he also shared some of Dick Dickson's moves (Namely his Party Foul, Gainer, and Machine Gun Thrust).
• During development, when Cheeks was still a party member, his class was to be "Pervert."
• If you let Terry Hintz join Chris Columbo, his corpse will disappear. This was changed in Definitive Edition, with said corpse now remaining.
• Cheeks, unlike Rick and Sticky, is the only one of Brad's friends that do not have a dedicated flashback sequence.
  • This also makes him have the least screen time.
    • Despite this, Cheeks is the only one of the three to be mentioned in another character's background description, being Buddy's, in which it is stated that her favorite food is "An expired candy bar that [he] gave her once."
