- Hyper Hair-Gro can be acquired by beating Chris Columbo in his race at the Stone Village on Pain Mode.

- Hyper Hair-Gro is an upgraded version of Hair-Gro from Normal Mode. As such, it is the strongest headgear available for Brad Armstrong and Nern Guan in the game. While equipped, it permanently grants either character the Cool status effect, which replenishes a small amount of HP each turn.
