"Rando... Why?"

Mr. Beautiful (Thomas) appears in LISA: THE JOYFUL. He is a Warlord of Olathe, ranked #5 on The List.

Appearance[]

Thomas "Mr. Beautiful" is a pale skinned male of a plump body-type who is always seen meditating in a lotus position, who has long flowing black hair, a snubbed nose, beady eyes, and a large goatee. He wears the same purple pajamas, and porcelain mask that depicts smiling blushing face as his followers, his mask however, seems to be slightly modified to match his hair color.

Personality[]

Mr. Beautiful is a moral and pacifistic individual who has a high faith in the people of Olathe, as the only defense towards any invaders in Pacifist Village is simply a sign that warns the reader "Violence will not be tolerated. Turn Back Now", he is also a man who lives by his morals, as he refuses to fight back against Buddy and Rando's physical onslaught against him until he is near death, and instead of expressing any hatred for Rando at his betrayal, he simply asks "Rando... Why?" indicating that he was more heartbroken than anything else at being betrayed by his friend (Rando).

Description[]

Mr. Beautiful is the benevolent leader of Pacifist Village, as explained by a weary Rando to Buddy, who (Rando) also states that "creating a community like this isn't ea-easy these days..." revealing that Mr. Beautiful's place on the list is due to the respect he has earned by everybody for managing to create and consistently maintain a completely non-violent community in the violent wastes of Olathe.

When he is encountered by Buddy and Rando, he is surprised by their unexpected appearance, and questions Rando about the location of The Unics, and Buddy's possession of a weapon with the words "Why does the little one have a sword?" and slowly realizes something is wrong and exclaims "This wasn't the plan". Buddy then approaches him and asks his identity, he hesitates for a second and then confirms he is Mr. Beautiful, commencing a three-phased fight

During the fight there are three phases: 1st phase with his mask on, 2nd phase with his mask breaking and then the 3rd phase with his mask off. He won't attack you until the 3rd phase, once he does he hits hard.

Mr. Beautiful's real name is Thomas.

Trivia[]

Mr. Beautiful was based on Shoko Asahara, a Japanese cult leader convicted and sentenced to death due to his involvement of the sarin gas attack amongst other crimes.
Mr. Beautiful's name might be inspired by professional wrestler Paul Orndnorff, who used the alias "Mr. Wonderful".
His sprite appears in the Kickstarter page and in the sprite collection, He and other BBBs might've originally going to appear in LISA: THE PAINFUL but got cut for unclear reasons, later reappearing in LISA: THE JOYFUL.
