Shardy Hernandez is a ferry operator and another member of the Hernandez family, along with his brothers Tardy, Fardy and Lardy. He is found in the Area 2 Crossroads at the bottom of a rope going down the cliffside, and will take the player to various places for free as long as they have a map. His fate at the end of the story is unknown. (It's possible that Shardy turned into a joy mutant, where Yado is sitting on a mountain of Mutants as a throne, one mutant resembles a similar face of Shardy, the only surviving Hernandez family in Joyful after Lardy's death). Additionally, Shardy is the only Hernandez brother without a battle.
